Under the impetus of the Ministry of Health, the Government adopted Order No. 2022-005/PT-RM on February 22, 2022, establishing the ANAES to replace the National Agency for the Evaluation of Hospitals (ANEH).

This order was ratified by Law No. 2022-015 on June 23, 2022.
